When you first start...

Before you book a block of training sessions with us we will first ask you to complete 3 x 1-hour sessions. Why? We want you to be satisfied that you have found the best personal trainer for you and that we have a good training relationship, and we want you to find a gym that you feel comfortable returning to. After an initial consultation and assessment, these first 3 sessions are important to help build the foundation of your training relationship.

If you have previous injuries, illnesses or medical conditions please make us aware of these at your initial appointment.

 

 

BODY TRANSFORMATION

(12 Weeks - 36 x One Hour Bespoke Personal Training)

The MG Body Transformation plan begins with a free consultation. This is an opportunity for us to meet face to face, for you to see our studio and training equipment and for you to ask any burning questions. If you are happy then we will book your first 3 slots. At MG we ask for 100% commitment from our customers. The Body Transformation program is not only transforming your body also your mind-body connection and ability to take control of your own health. We will help you achieve your goals (fat-loss, body-sculpting or training to bulk-up), by working together with you. The results are amazing when the mind and body are transformed!

1. Train within a Private Studio

No waiting in line for pieces of equipment. When you are Personal Training with MG, you are guaranteeing yourself a full hour bespoke workout in our studio. A stress-free workout that recharges you in just 60 minutes.

2. Personalised Nutritional Plan

Good nutrition is integral to achieving your goals. We will consult with you to determine your nutritional needs and create a bespoke diet plan to help fuel your fitness journey and have you firing on all cylinders.

3. Bespoke Protein Shake After Every Personal Training Session

A protein shake after your workout will prevent your body from using its own muscle tissue for energy and help encourage muscle synthesis leading to better results and faster recovery for your next personal training session.

4. Bespoke Massage Therapy whenever necessary

Your bespoke exercise regime could cause muscle fatigue and soreness so we offer massage therapy to help alleviate stress and tension. Therapies include massage, dry-needling, cupping and physio taping.

 5. Showing progress by  functional test and Marsden Body Composition scale

We will have weekly/monthly update meetings to ensure you are on the right track. We take measurements of your body composition (body fat percentage, weight, metabolic rate, water percentage, visceral fat, bone mass and muscle mass) and discuss why they are important to know and relevant to your goals.

Many doctors and obstetricians promote the benefits of exercise for healthy pregnancies. Exercise in the prenatal and postnatal period must be approached with care, making personal training during this time a valuable service. The pelvic floor takes on additional stress as the baby’s weight increases, and joints begin to loosen in response to hormones. All of these biological and psychological  changes make a impact on mum and baby. Good posture, cardiovascular health, and strength crucial to a healthy and comfortable pregnancy.

A research study, conducted by the Family Practice Research Journal, found that mothers who exercised at least 20 minutes a day, at least three times a week for at least 20 weeks of their pregnancy had fewer complications and shorter labours than mothers who did not exercise. A study revealed that mothers who exercised during pregnancy reported lower incidences of anxiety, depression, and pregnancy-specific stress while in their first and second trimesters.

I’ve been seeing Murat for a few weeks now for a lateral knee pain problem. Murat is excellent at listening and then communicating back his train of thought about where can the problem come from. I was in extreme pain when I first visited Murat. His initial first assessment revealed some elements of my lifestyle that I hadn't considered, that were contributing towards my back pain. I was given a very detailed examination of my stance, muscle and joint movement/limitations. He was very precise and informative throughout. I was suffering from a shoulder pain for the whole duration of quarantine. I was struggling to do daily tasks like lifting up my arm and reaching to my side, It was also affecting my sleep. I was trying out many stretches and exercises to improve my shoulder but none of them seemed to work. Then I decided to go to Murat at MG fitness to see if he could improve my arm as he is an osteopath. We did exercises and he did therapy on my shoulder and after a couple of sessions most of my pain was gone. I am very happy how he managed to fix my arm as I could now do daily tasks without suffering.
