This question is generally asked by women and the answer is yes, you can lose weight and tone up at the same time without turning into Schwarzenegger. Women have a different reaction to a workout than men. As you start exercising you tend not to get muscles straight away, this happens over time with a more focussed training. If you want quick weight loss aerobic and repetitive work outs will do the job – just make sure you are working all the body. Lifting some small dumbbells 15-30 times and doing 1-2 sets will be enough for you, don’t forget to take your heart rate into the equation and vary your training. MG osteopaths will begin your treatment at your first initial consultation to ease your symptoms but sometimes they may require further tests first i.e. blood tests or scans. Occasionally they may diagnose an illness that they are unable to treat and may refer you to your GP for further test.

Osteopaths are healthcare professionals who are specifically trained in diagnosing health issues. At the start of your first appointment, your osteopath will ask you questions about your medical history and lifestyle, as well as any symptoms you may be experiencing. This is very important as it will help them to make an accurate diagnosis and suggest appropriate treatment. They will write down what you tell them in your records. These will be treated as confidential in accordance with standards of practice set out by the General Osteopathic Council and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you wish, you may request a copy of your notes, but you may be charged an administration fee for this. Your osteopath will need to examine the area(s) of your body causing discomfort. Sometimes the cause of the problem may be in a different area to the pain, (For example, pain in your lower arm may be linked to the nerves in your neck) so they may need to examine your whole body. They will need to feel for any tightness in the muscles and stiffness in the joints and may need to touch these areas to identify problems. They will explain what they are doing as they go along. If you are uncomfortable with any part of this, you have the right to ask them to stop at any stage, without prejudicing your future treatment.
After an initial consultation, we arrange a first sessions where we assess your fitness, taking measurements for muscle mass, fat percentage, bone mass, metabolic age, blood pressure and relaxing heart rate. We look at your posture and discuss your general nutrition, and expectation then follow this with an hour’s tailored personal training. We find our what are your like and dislikes – if you want to run we run with you, if you want to involve boxing we’ll devise sparring routine. Following this, we go away and tailor-make a programme to fit your needs and budget. We always make the training vary,fun and enjoyable so you never get bored.
Perhaps you are over-exercising yourself without knowing your own body. If your body and mind are not ready for the result, you won’t get one. People often go to the gym and do fast running or short training, without considering training intensity, repetition and body positioning or they eat whatever they wants because they think they work hard. MG personal trainers will do this with you, guiding you through your workout.
Often people workout but don’t adjust their diet. Our personal trainer can advise on the best foods to eat to stay healthy and lose weight.
It’s also important to be mindful of your posture in your daily routine. When you’re walking, sitting or standing take care to consider how your body is working. MG personal training can get check your posture and advise on how to move your body outside of the workout. It all helps to achieve results!
MG Fit in Fitness are qualified in pre- and post-natal fitness training. Do get advice from your GP both before and following the birth, then call us to arrange a consultation with a personal trainer. Normally, there is no risk taking low level exercises and then gradually building on this. We would prepare an easy workout to ensure an all over fitness, focusing especially on hip and lower back areas which support your body and improve your posture. Through pregnancy, women’s bodies changes and can take time to recover. Our personal trainers can guide you through this recovery.
Some people are happy to follow their own programme in their own time and place; for those who lack the time, or the motivation, or the energy to train effectively on their own, a Personal Trainer can be the answer. The support, advice and encouragement comes with safe exercise technique to help you avoid injuries.

Most Personal Trainers are fully aware that in order to change an unhealthy lifestyle you have to work within it. Our Personal Trainers will give you nutritional and lifestyle advice. We are only with you a few hours a week, but the fitter you become, the better you will treat your body as a natural consequence.
Our 3 Hours Kick-Start Package (with 30 minutes fitness consultation) is £150.
After that, there’s Initial 12 Sessions Package for £630 and then following 12 Sessions Package will be for £660.
Although any fees may seem quite high, we are professionals, properly qualified, and fully insured. You are imparted with our knowledge of our 3+ years Sports Science Degree and experience of what works and what doesn’t.
You are the Client and so should be able to train when you want. However, do remember our Personal Trainers will have existing Clients and so your first choice may not be available so it’s best to be flexible. If you’re changing your training time, always give at least 24 hours notice – otherwise you’ll be charged.
A Personal Training session will last for one hour. This will follow along the lines of a brief warm-up followed by your main training programme where you will focus on your goals using cardiovascular, strength or flexibility exercises. Finally there will be a cool down or relaxation period. Any programme may vary from one session to the next according to the Clients’ needs and progress.
The nature of Personal Training is such that it incorporates your needs, goals and preferences. The Personal Trainer will need to ask some initial questions during the consultation, which probe the demands that are placed on you from your job or lifestyle. Typically the first session will include questions about:
Basic personal details
Medical background
Fitness background
Lifestyle factors (e.g. smoking or drinking)
Nutritional habits (you may be asked to keep a diary)
Personal goals and objectives in relation to fitness
So as you can see a trainer looks at more than just the fitness or exercise component of your life. Any professional trainer should be able to provide information and advice about nutrition, stress management, motivational techniques and then be able to refer you on to others where the need may arise (Sports Massage Therapy)
Depending on your recent fitness and exercise programmes (or lack of) they may ask you for a certificate if they believe that medical conditions and/or past injuries will affect your participation in a training session.
The sessions are challenging, designed to get you fit in a fun environment and cater for all fitness levels. We do appreciate that starting a new fitness regime can be daunting, however, our Instructors and existing members are supportive and motivating. We aim to introduce new members gradually and increase the intensity as the level of fitness improves.
We train in all weather conditions, so wrap up warm in the winter and wear waterproofs if it’s raining. If the ground at HI-FIT Boot Camp Shoreditch Park is too wet, it will be take place inside our Studio. If the ground at HI-FIT Boot Camp London Fields is too wet, it will be cancelled.
Absolutely not! There are only shouts of encouragement at our sessions!
All HI-FIT Boot Camp lasts 45-60 minutes and incorporate a variety of different exercises, circuits & team games. Each session varies from week to week.
Please bring water and suitable clothing. Please ensure you make the Instructor aware if this your HI-FIT Boot Camp.
You have to look after your own valuables. MG Fit in Fitness do not take any liability if valuables goes missing.
Anything your feel comfortable and won’t limit your range of movement. Supportive footwear and layers are recommended for the winter months. Your trainer will advise before your first visit.

There is no joining fee for single HI-FIT Boot Camp or HI-FIT Boot Camp Monthly Membership.
MG Osteopaths make your treatment as comfortable as possible and will work with your pain threshold level that why you will be safe hand. MG Osteopathy treatment is usually a very gentle process and osteopaths work very hard to make treatment as painless as possible, but you may experience some discomfort during and after treatment. Your osteopath will warn you if they think that the technique that they are about to use is likely to be uncomfortable and will stop if you tell them that you are feeling too much pain.
Following treatment you may experience some mild soreness in the area of their body that was treated, this will normally will go away within 48 hours. If you experience serious or unusual symptoms after treatment you should contact your osteopath straight away for advice.
Osteopaths are regulated by law and recognised as an allied health profession by NHS England. This gives them a similar status to dentists or physiotherapists and guarantees the equivalent high level of care. By law, an osteopath must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) to practise in the UK. Before an osteopath can obtain registration, they must attain specialist degree-level training, either a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) or integrated Masters (MOst.), plus complete over 1000 hours of clinical placements (direct patient contact time). To maintain their registration with GOsC, which is renewed annually, osteopaths must meet mandatory continuous professional development (CPD): keeping skills and knowledge up-to-date and maintaining high standards of professional development.
As with any healthcare appointment, it may be necessary for your osteopath to ask you to remove some clothing. This is so they can observe and palpate the areas of the body causing you concern. Your osteopath will want you to feel at ease, therefore if you feel uncomfortable undressing to your underwear, your osteopath may be able to suggest wearing clothing, such as shorts and a t-shirt, sports bra or close-fitting garments, that will enable them to work effectively, so please do discuss this with them.You may wish to seek treatment from an osteopath of the same sex as yourself. You are also welcome to ask a friend or relative to accompany you and be present throughout your appointment.
