When First Start...

Before you book a block of training sessions with us we will first ask you to complete either 30-min Free Consultation or 60-min Initial Personal Training. 

Why? We want you to be satisfied that you have found the best, most affordable personal trainer. We would like to build a good training relationship, and we want you to find a personal training studio that you feel comfortable returning to. 

After an initial consultation and assessment, ideally first 3 personal training sessions are important to help build the foundation so we can progress quickly and safely.

BODY TRANSFORMATION

The MG Body Transformation plan begins with a free consultation. This is an opportunity for us to meet face to face, for you to see our studio and training equipment and for you to ask any burning questions. If you are happy then we will book your first 3 slots. At MG we ask for 100% commitment from our customers. The Body Transformation program is not only transforming your body also your mind-body connection and ability to take control of your own health. We will help you achieve your goals (fat-loss, body-sculpting or training to bulk-up), by working together with you. The results are amazing when the mind and body are transformed!

1. Train within a Private Studio

No waiting in line for pieces of equipment. When you are Personal Training with MG, you are guaranteeing yourself a full hour bespoke workout in our studio. A stress-free workout that recharges you in just 60 minutes.

2. Personalised Nutritional Plan

Good nutrition is integral to achieving your goals. We will consult with you to determine your nutritional needs and create a bespoke diet plan to help fuel your fitness journey and have you firing on all cylinders.

3. Bespoke Protein Shake After Every Personal Training Session

A protein shake after your workout will prevent your body from using its own muscle tissue for energy and help encourage muscle synthesis leading to better results and faster recovery for your next personal training session.

4. Bespoke Massage Therapy whenever necessary

Your bespoke exercise regime could cause muscle fatigue and soreness so we offer massage therapy to help alleviate stress and tension. Therapies include massage, dry-needling, cupping and physio taping.

 5. Showing progress by  functional test and Marsden Body Composition scale

We will have weekly/monthly update meetings to ensure you are on the right track. We take measurements of your body composition (body fat percentage, weight, metabolic rate, water percentage, visceral fat, bone mass and muscle mass) and discuss why they are important to know and relevant to your goals.

Many doctors and obstetricians promote the benefits of exercise for healthy pregnancies. Exercise in the prenatal and postnatal period must be approached with care, making personal training during this time a valuable service. The pelvic floor takes on additional stress as the baby’s weight increases, and joints begin to loosen in response to hormones. All of these biological and psychological  changes make a impact on mum and baby. Good posture, cardiovascular health, and strength crucial to a healthy and comfortable pregnancy.

A research study, conducted by the Family Practice Research Journal, found that mothers who exercised at least 20 minutes a day, at least three times a week for at least 20 weeks of their pregnancy had fewer complications and shorter labours than mothers who did not exercise. A study revealed that mothers who exercised during pregnancy reported lower incidences of anxiety, depression, and pregnancy-specific stress while in their first and second trimesters.

After wasting money on so many chiropractors, I was so happy to finally have found MG Osteopathy and Murat. He is very attentive and detailed in his approach which helps you feel at ease whilst he builds out a plan to help you feel better physically/mentally. I've been seeing him for the past 2 months and definitely will keep going on a monthly basis even once my back/knee issues resolve which says it all! A real game changer is the facilities - there is a good array of equipment on offer which allows you to not only receive treatment, but get a sweat on whilst he coaches you on key movements that will improve your fitness in the gym. I got a disc injury and that resulted in my right leg going almost completely numb, my mobility became minimal I couldn't bend over, lean backwards, unable to make any sudden movements or even run. And just having constant pain. I'm 2 months into my rehabilitation program and the pain has reduced to local tightness in my lower back, I can feel my leg again and almost regained my full mobility! I was given 3 exercises and getting weekly treatments from MG Osteopathy. I can highly recommend!

I came to the clinic after I injured my back in the gym. Gulseren examined me very thoroughly and devised an effective treatment plan that was specifically targeted to my issue. She gave me lots of advice, answered all my questions and tailored my treatment according to my medical issue and lifestyle. I starting going to MG Osteopathy a few months ago as I had been dealing with lower back, lower body, shoulder and neck pains, and fatigue. Murat provides a very personalised hands-on service and takes a very holistic approach to care; discussing exercise, nutrition, sleep, stress, general lifestyle, etc. Since starting with MG Osteopathy, I have seen great improvements in my range of motion, strength, and energy, and reductions in pain. I generally lack physical literacy, and MG Osteopathy has really helped to educate me along the way so that I can take more ownership for my lifestyle improvements and injury prevention.
